SEO Tip: Title Tags
Okay so I had to write one more cpayscom2 online casino seo article! You have any idea why you are on page 2 (or #12) in MSN? I mean, you seem to have to perfect domain name… Personally- and I don’t know why I’m telling you this- I think you should get ride of the word “contest” from your title tag. Now, 25% of your title (1 of 4 words) is diluted with a word that has nothing to do with the subject.
I have many sites that are number one in MSN and Yahoo and 6 or 7 in Google (a little tougher), but I am not going to bother with this contest. There are so many entries, that MSN is bound to consider this contest “search engine SPAM” and start de-indexing sites…but if you still want to give it a shot, I would get rid of “Contest.” Just my opinion… I am currently working on my Information Systems Doctorate and I’ve studied search engines relentlessly for years.
Finally, and I don’t give a shit what anybody says- inbound links don’t mean squat. I mean, they do to a point, but not nearly as much as people think. Do a search for “Arizona Hipoteca” in Google. (Hipoteca means mortgage.) That site is number one and has been number one since my friend launched it a couple months ago. It was number one a week after he put it up. Still is. Nobody links to him. Nobody. The number two site (bugs finance) has tons of inbound links. He is also number one in MSN for hispanics seeking mortgages. Probably Yahoo too, but I don’t have time to check right now.
If I were to decide to enter this contest, I will wait until the last possible minute and then nail the search engines. I think you are doing this too early and diluting your chances. Plus, in the meanwhile, everyone gets to see your techniques. They won’t see them if you wait until 2 weeks before the contest ends.

Oh…one more thing regarding inbound links. I don’t know how many you have, but you can’t possibly have hundreds- or maybe you do. Yet, you are still right up there in Google. You are number 2 (pretty good) out of 200,000 results and the number 3 guy has a page rank higher than yours. Interesting, huh? The fifth guy in Google has a page rank of 4. I think your page rank is zero, right? So how does a zero page get higher than a “PR 4″ page when it comes to Google and the exact same search phrase. For one, page rank (inbound link importance) is bullshit and after studying thousands and thousands of pages, I am quite sure of this.
I’ll tell you right now: It’s your URL. If you really want to win this and you haven’t registered the .net, .us, .org, .ws and everything else- I would do that before somebody else does and knocks you out. Google gives no preference to .coms over .infos or .nets or whatever.
I also wouldn’t really worry too much about link exchange. Link exchange is what supposedly gets your PR up, but check out this site:

The “Guru Effect” is a common business term in relation to the stock market. If you search for Guru Effect in Google, this page is number 2 in Google, with a page rank of 5. Google will tell you that page rank is based on the number of inbound links, but why does this page have a ranking of 5? I am pretty sure it has no more than 5 inbound links and barely any regular readers. This is in direct conflict to Google’s own information about PR.
Just something to think about regarding the Google bullshit. It’s Labor Day so I’m bored…and you seem like a nice guy trying to share your knowledge, so I thought you deserve to win. Plus, I notice that you aren’t using any dirty tricks, so you deserve it more than the other cheaters out there.
I think you can get the Google win, but MSN is a little more tricky. I have MSN mastered, but JUST IN CASE I decide to enter (which won’t be for months), I have to keep that one myself. No offense.
