It has been a while since I made my last post regarding the CPayscom2 Online Casino contest. Honestly, I’ve been super busy lately and have not had a chance to really stop and check in on the site.

I am very surprised to see it because my link popularity should be rising constantly and my content is well written. Yahoo is not a search engine I am really trying to target in this competition. I have used their search several time’s and find that I am not ranking anywhere near the number 1 spot and only 1st gets paid for Yahoo. Therefor, I decided not to try and make my page customized for the yahoo search engine. But rather, work on optimizing and trying to hit number 1 in Google - but mainly MSN!

Many site’s in the top MSN positions are older site’s that honestly, look like all they did was change the title to “CPayscom2 Online Casino” instead of the first competition keyword “CPayscom Online Casinos.”

I must say I am stunned at the results. Especially knowing that MSN thinks very highly on keywords in the URL. Another thing I am begining to believe is that the MSN search engine probably does not deduct any kind of “points” or whatever for site’s hosted via free hosting companies. You see many site’s in the top position who have accounts on wordpress, blogspot, and other free blog hosting companies. It kind of makes me wonder, what if I were to goto Google and search something like “cool hbo shows” and have a geocities or tripod homepage show up in the number one spot. It never happens!
